CFAB's Move
Benefits Non-profit Organizations. When CFAB relocated, furniture and equipment from CFAB's
office at Denali Towers was
made available to non-profit organizations. We were grateful
to have been able to assist the following
organizations: Prince William Sound Aquaculture Association,
Mary Magdalene Home, The Salvation Army, Alaska Fisheries
Development Foundation, Hospice of Anchorage, Armed Services YMCA,
Covenant House, American Diabetes Association, Child Care
Connection, Alaska Miners' Association and Turnagain United
Methodist Church.

twenty-five years serving the Alaska Business Community. Read

CFAB Makes Borrowing
Easier. August 31, 2004. CFAB announced changes to
its capital plan. The investment requirement for membership in
CFAB was reduced from five percent to two percent (or $2,500
whichever is less). "We are very proud and pleased to be able
to make this change," said Lela Klingert, President of CFAB.
CFAB is a private, for profit member owned cooperative specializing
in financing to the tourism, natural resources, commercial fishing
and agriculture industries of Alaska. In addition to general
business loans, CFAB also makes loans to purchase IFQ's, Limited
Entry permits and the recently developed CQE's.
