The 2026 CFAB Scholarship Program is Open!!
The CFAB Scholarship Fund encourages young Alaskans, whose families earn their livelihoods from fishing, agriculture, tourism, and natural resource industries, to continue their education beyond high school. Assisting in developing future community leaders through education is vital to the communities, industries, and families CFAB serves.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be:
• Under age 26 and an Alaska resident
• A child, descendant, or spouse of a CFAB member, employee, or director
• A candidate for a degree or certificate at an accredited college, trade school, apprenticeship, or vocational-technical school
To help verify eligibility, applicants are strongly encouraged to include an attestation statement in their application such as:
“I am the daughter/son/spouse of CFAB Member [Name] #[Member Number].”
Applications without eligibility verification may not be considered.
Applications are processed through our scholarship fund partner. CFAB anticipates awarding multiple scholarships in 2026. Final number and award amounts will be announced following fund review.
